The Cockermouth & Workington area presentation evening is being held at the Hundith Hill Hotel, Lorton on Friday 24th February. Three course dinner and entertainment by Phenomenon. The Coniston Tops series of open trials will begin on Sunday 8th January at 2.30pm. Two trails will be laid for first two or three weeks - a longer 9 minute and a short 4 minute for both junior and seniors. Weather permitting

Lakeland Trailhound Welfare are looking for accomodation for one person to rent with two well behaved trailhounds who live in the house. Accomodation could be a farm flat, house share. annexe. mobile home or small cottage if the rent is reasonable enough. I would be able to help out with any dogs or horses when I am not at work. I would need a couple of spare kennels for occasional short term use for trailhounds before they go on to their new homes. I also need a landline or good mobile reception as I need to be able to receive calls and get on the internet.
