There will be no trials at Coniston on Sunday 26th February.
The Keswick area doo will this year take place on Sunday 26th February at Rosthwaite. A practice trail will be held at 11.00am (approx 11 mins) and then there will be Hot Pot dinner and trophy presentation with a raffle,quiz and bar in the Institute afterwards. It is £3 a head and all are welcome. We need a rough idea of numbers for catering so if you are planning on attending please can you contact Carole (01768) 777677 or Christine (01768) 777647 or Lynn (01539) 821534 before Wednesday. We also thought it would be nice to have a collection of old hound trailing photos so if you have some that may be of interest please bring them along.

Lakeland Trailhound Welfare are looking for accomodation for one person to rent with two well behaved trailhounds who live in the house. Accomodation could be a farm flat, house share. annexe. mobile home or small cottage if the rent is reasonable enough. I would be able to help out with any dogs or horses when I am not at work. I would need a couple of spare kennels for occasional short term use for trailhounds before they go on to their new homes. I also need a landline or good mobile reception as I need to be able to receive calls and get on the internet.
